I build AI automation that runs unattended in production: title pipelines, voice fleets, email triage, video production. How I got here, and how I work.

I'm Phil Taul. I've spent twenty years building, breaking, and running technology for other people's businesses, and for my own.

I graduated in 2005 focused on Cisco networking, and by 2007 I had my first company, designing enterprise WiFi for Fortune 500 hotel chains, stadium projects, and the U.S. Army. By 2010 it was a six-person team and I was on the road 260 days a year. Since then I have run a digital marketing agency that earned Google Partner status, owned a web design and hosting firm, launched a hyperlocal news platform, and picked up a Young Entrepreneur of the Year award along the way. I have built companies and I have lost companies. Both taught me more than any certification.

Today I split my time between two things that feed each other:

  • Solutions architecture at a managed services provider, where I design and support networks, cloud voice, security, and infrastructure for businesses across logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, auto sales, food service, local government, construction, legal, finance, agriculture, and more. Real production systems, real stakes, real 2 a.m. phone calls.
  • AI integration, where I build automation systems for businesses and run them in production: document pipelines, operations tooling, content systems. The case studies on this site are that work.

Everything published here follows one rule: I only write about systems I actually operate. The video pipeline behind the free guide edits a real weekly show. The playbooks come from infrastructure I maintain for real clients. If something on this site looks polished, it's because it broke first and I fixed it.
